UV Water Sterilizer for Water Treatment

UV sterilization is considered one of the most effective water treatment disinfection methods. UV sterilizers are able to quickly act on and stabilize all biological impurities in the water. No chemicals need to be added, which saves costs and there is no risk of overdosing.

After the disinfection process is completed, up to 99% of bacteria will be killed within 10 seconds under UV light. UV water treatment is renowned for its easy installation and does not change the pH, taste and other components of the water.

With FupengWater UV water sterilizer expertise, you will get an economical solution that creates value for you while reducing the operating costs of your reverse osmosis unit.

Applications where UV water treatment is commonly used:

Bottled water plants

Surface water and groundwater

Dairy products

Hospitals

Hydroponics and farms

Restaurants and food

Water softeners

Cooling towers

Graywater treatment

FupengWater has more than 23 years of experience as a leading global supplier of UV sterilizers for microbial water treatment. UV water treatment systems are designed to eliminate all harmful organisms in the water supply. These systems bring cost, efficiency and maintenance advantages to users, ultimately resulting in a high return on investment.

We strongly recommend using our UV water sterilizer as a post-treatment in the water treatment process. Almost all microorganisms are susceptible to UV disinfection. For every penny of operating cost, hundreds of gallons of water can be purified.

No chemicals need to be added and there is no risk of overdosing. Once the water flows out of the water purifier, it can be used directly without further contact. It is easy to use and easy to install and maintain. The compact unit requires only a small amount of operating and storage space. There will be no chlorine taste or corrosion problems.

FupengWater UV water sterilizer uses germicidal UV lamps to produce short-wave radiation that kills bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms in the water. UV water treatment purification is a unique and rapid method of water disinfection without the use of heat or chemicals. Over the years, UV technology has become a preferred method of cost-effective water disinfection.

FupengWater UV water purifier is an ideal solution for the growing number of water treatment applications. We offer UV water treatment systems from a variety of well-known brands.

Advantages of UV water treatment

Efficient: Almost all microorganisms are susceptible to FupengWater UV disinfection.

Economical: Hundreds of gallons of water can be purified for every penny of operating cost.

Safe: No risk of overdose, no chemicals to be added.

Fast: Water is ready for use as soon as it passes through the purifier, no further contact is required.

Convenient: Simple installation and maintenance. Compact device, takes up minimal space.

Automated: Continuous or intermittent disinfection can be performed without special attention or measurement.

Chemical-free: No chlorine odor, no corrosion issues.

Versatile: Treatment capacity range: 2 to 800 gallons per minute (gpm).

All lamps used in FupengWater units are low-pressure types, capable of producing the required germicidal rays with maximum efficiency. In addition to the significant advantages of high efficiency and low power requirements, the unit also has no possibility of overheating (some other types of lamps have overheating issues). Therefore, no additional equipment is required to prevent overheating.

Uses

Ultraviolet sterilization is commonly used for:

Kills bacteria and viruses up to 99.9%.

Maximum pressure: 125 psi

Ambient temperature: 2-400℃

Rugged stainless steel or aluminum protective housing.

The reaction chamber is backed by a seven-year warranty for unmatched reliability.

Mounting clamps and quartz sleeves are included.

The Difference Between UV Water Purifiers and Water Filters

UV water purifiers are completely different from water filters. First, they look very different: a UV sterilizer is essentially a large bulb encased in a metal frame, while a water filtration system is a filter cartridge made of activated carbon or other composite materials.

UV water purifiers also work differently than filters. Water purifiers reduce or eliminate contaminants by trapping them in their materials, while UV systems allow water to flow directly through the UV tube without being hindered by filters.

UV water purifiers eliminate dangerous pathogens, cysts, and other organisms by destroying their DNA. Water filtration systems, on the other hand, cannot kill organisms. Filters essentially block suspended solids from passing through, thereby removing them from the water.
