The XP series grilled sewage cleaner is one of the core products in the complete set of equipment for pre-treatment and contamination removal in water supply and drainage systems.
The Series Screen-Type Wastewater Cleaner is a key product in the pretreatment and decontamination equipment suite for water supply and drainage systems. It replaces traditional screens with a screen mesh structure consisting of tines, a rake shaft, and chain plates. This screen mesh continuously rotates within its frame, intercepting and separating suspended solids in the wastewater. The captured debris is then scraped off by rotating scrapers into a debris hopper.
This device utilizes a uniquely designed plow-shaped rake chain, which is arranged on a horizontal axis in a specific assembly sequence and quantity. The spacing between the tines can be adjusted based on water flow, allowing for flexible installation at pumping stations or water treatment system inlets. When the drive unit propels the chain upward, debris is intercepted by the tines, while the liquid flows through the gaps between the tines. When the chain reaches its highest point, it reverses and moves downward, allowing the captured debris to fall automatically under the influence of gravity. When the tines return to the bottom of the equipment, the above process repeats, continuously removing debris from the water and achieving solid-liquid separation.
The main advantages of this equipment are that it continuously separates suspended solids from the water, ensuring high operating efficiency, smooth movement, minimal water level difference on both sides of the screen, and resistance to clogging. The screen mesh teeth can be made of nylon or stainless steel, while the tines and chain plates are made of stainless steel, significantly improving the overall corrosion resistance of the screen. For screens with smaller gaps, stainless steel tines are recommended to ensure corrosion resistance and longevity. The system consists of a closed tine chain, assembled in a staggered, parallel arrangement. Driven by an electric motor and a reducer, the tines move continuously downward from the top, using a set of sheaves and chains, to continuously clean the screen. When the tines reach the upper rear of the equipment, the sprockets and curved rails guide the parallel rows of tines, causing solids to fall into the slag trough due to their own gravity. If any debris isn't completely removed, this type of screen can easily carry it into the passageway behind the screen.
When the wire rope-pulled drum mechanical screen is operating, the wire rope drive releases the rope, allowing the bucket to descend along the guide rails from its highest position (the position at the end of the previous skimming cycle). The skimmer plate, under its own weight, descends with the bucket. After the skimmer plate returns to its original position, the scraper opens and, driven by the scraper opening and closing mechanism (electric actuator) and the intermediate wire rope, continues to descend until it reaches the lower limit of the passageway. Once the rake teeth are inserted into the gaps between the bars, the wire rope drive pulls the rope back, further closing the scraper. The scraper and bucket car then move upward along the guide rails, performing the slag removal operation until they reach the skimmer plate. During this relative motion, the scraper moves debris through the guide plate and into the slag trough, completing a single cycle.
